Hey! I'm Ingrid, I'll be 22 very soon, and on August 30 I'm off to Australia and Asia! I now live in Ålesund in Norway and I'm writing this blog to keep the guys at home, and elsewhere, posted about how my life is down under. I'm gonna stay there for 3,5 months; first a week in Bourke (god knows how the twelve-hour long bus ride there will be when I'm jetlagged), then six weeks in Brisbane where we (my class from Volda Uni College) will attend lectures at Griffith University, and then two weeks in Japan (wow). The schedule isn't really set after that, but at least my plans include seeing Singapore and Malaysia.
Yesterday I found out that I'm actually not allowed to bring more than 20 kgs of luggage on the plane, and that really sucks! Where am I gonna put all my syllabus books? And my shoes? And everything else? I can barely handle a weekend in Copenhagen with only 20 kgs. I guess I'll have to buy loads of stuff when I get there. Well, at least I have an excuse to go shopping :D
Brisbane's gonna be loads of fun! Some of us are gonna stay in a complex called Kangaroo Point Apartments which look really great. Yiha :D
